On the evening that I was reviewing the content of this website with the Web Developer I had an unannounced visitor in the house. As I was sitting in the living room watching my dog play with her toy, a fast moving dark object was heading in her direction. It was a huge spider with long legs and my guess is that it was the size of a wolf spider or dock spider. It moved so quickly and escaped through the heating register back down to the basement. I try to rescue spiders and promote the catch and release method however it was very cold outside so it was good that it scurried away.

After the excitement and perhaps a little fear I realized that the spider was a message from Spirit. Spirit will often send messages through animals, numbers, feathers and songs. I looked up the spiritual meaning for spider and it is representative of feminine energy and creativity. This was a message to continue to embrace my creativity that was recently re-ignited with the launch of my business and to move with the flow of life.

The next synchronicity was the number sequences 5:55 on the clock followed by the numbers 222 and 999 on my phone. 555 is a message from Spirit that I am in alignment with my true self. 222 is a message to keep the faith, practice positivity and keep moving forward. 999 is another message to express true self and weave love into all aspects of life. Very interesting to have these messages around creativity and expression. For me it was confirmation that I am in flow with Spirit. What a fantastic feeling!

If you haven’t noticed messages in the past perhaps this story will encourage you to keep on the look out for signs and synchronicities, because Spirit is always communicating with us. We just need to recognize the messages when they occur.
