Reiki can be performed distantly as well as in person.  This is accomplished with the Reiki Master or practitioner setting an intention to send Reiki with the receiver’s name. The Reiki is then sent out through space and time to the receiver. It is really up to the recipient whether they would like to be present during the healing by way of a scheduled video call or by having the Master or practioner complete absent Reiki and advising when the Reiki transmission is completed.
